Privacy policy
What we collect when you use this website, where it goes, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no tracking or advertising pixels. If you do not fill in the contact form, we do not collect anything about you beyond the ordinary server logs any website produces. If you do fill it in, we get exactly what you typed, and we use it to reply to you.
Who we are
Bizneeds LLC operates bizneeds.ai and is responsible for the personal information described here. For anything on this page, including a request to delete your data, email hello@bizneeds.ai.
What we collect
What you type into the contact form. Your name, company, industry, email address, phone number if you choose to give one, an approximate annual revenue range if you choose to pick one, and your message. Only the name and email are required.
A small amount of technical information sent with that form. Your browser's user agent string, and a note that the submission came from bizneeds.ai. We use these to tell real enquiries from automated spam.
The form also contains a hidden field that real people never fill in. If it is filled in, we treat the submission as automated and discard it. Nothing is stored.
Ordinary server logs. Our host records requests to the site, including IP addresses, for a short period for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you and we do not link them to form submissions.
What we do not collect
We do not use cookies, local storage, session tracking, analytics, heatmaps, session recording, advertising pixels or retargeting tags on this website. We do not buy personal information about visitors, we do not sell or share yours, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
This page covers this website. It does not cover advertising or analytics we operate for clients inside their own accounts, which are governed by those clients' own privacy policies.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, and to keep an ordinary business record of who contacted us and about what. We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the form. If we ever start sending marketing email, it will be because you asked for it and it will be easy to stop.
Who else touches it
Four companies are involved in running this site. Each receives only what it needs.
- Vercel hosts the website and processes requests to it, in the United States.
- Supabase stores contact form submissions in a database, in the United States.
- Resend, which delivers through Amazon Simple Email Service, sends us the notification email containing your submission, in the United States.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface this site uses. Loading a page requests the font file from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request. We do not send Google anything else.
We do not give your information to anyone else, and we will not sell it.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to respond to you and to keep a record of the enquiry, and no longer than three years from your last contact with us unless you become a client, in which case our records are kept for the life of the engagement and for the period our accountants and the tax authorities require afterwards. You can ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@bizneeds.ai and we will action it within thirty days. There is no form and no account to create. We will not make you justify the request.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. Your other rights are exercised the same way, by email, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Children
This site sells business services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the database credentials are held server-side and never exposed to your browser, and access to submissions is limited to the people at Bizneeds who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will change this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
